Holidays~!!

I got back home on Wednesday afternoon from UTP.
I was tired
because
the day before, after the last paper,
we went to Ipoh to chill out.
(I find it very weird to say "went to Ipoh" because I stay in Ipoh!)
Wanted to watch the movie 2012
but
gosh, tickets are sold out like mad~
T__T
Then, Chee Sheng and I were so sad. LOL. :P
So,
we watched A Christmas Carol instead.
It wasn't anything remarkable
but very meaningful and a tiny bit spooky.
Hahaha!
Then we reach uni around midnight
and
we packed a bit here and there
then
slept like dead people. :P

On Thursday,
I went KL with mum.
Walked a lot in Gardens. XO
Was helping mum to choose dinner clothes
for my aunt Janice's coming wedding dinner. :D
I din buy anything there
and I guess because I didn't get anything,
my parents went to Pavillion
so that I can go Forever21. LOL.
I bought one checker button-up shirt there.
I like it very much~ :)
Oh,
I ate a lot of food.
Prawn mee, western, Hokkien mee, lala, pan mee, porridge, ice cream.
I am basically bloated.
LOL.
I just got back this afternoon.
I think I am tired.
O.o
Am watching 2012 with Anna tomorrow.
Weehee~~
I miss my friends
and we will be reunite soon!

Not only does it make me look life-less,
it also fatten me.

I manage to get myself thinner legs this semester,
and only 2 weeks of exams have made them a bit bigger again.

And I am so running back home next Wed.
I need to leave UTP.
Especially since they decided to take U-Turn for our internet.
Why I said U-Turn?
Well,
this semester,
I thought our uni has been nice and cleared their "airhead",
because they have unblocked YouTube and MSN.
And the connection was fast enough to download some videos and songs.
BUT,
they took the U-Turn last week or so,
and block YouTube, MSN and MORE!!
WTH~!!!
They already turned our DC++ upside down
and
now they block even more websites!
They even block 4Shared.com!
GRRRR~~~!!!!!
Oh well,
they can't help it.
Because their heads are full of air that they can't think reasonably.
Airheads...
I don't know how came up with the word "airhead".
But it is not a bad term for them.

Another Thank You Card

This card is a special requested one.

I had to rush it in two days. :P
So, the deco could be a bit more simple.
But sometimes, simple is sometimes the best. :)

The background is a combination of a few
patterned papers.
The colour combination is autumn-like.
I really like to see the my gold flowers with white pearls. :D

I drew the cross-stitched-like pattern at the sides myself.
I think it is really nice! :D
But yes, it takes some time and much concentration. Lol.

I had to add some squigglies at the sides. :P
It is already a trademark of mine
and without it,
it just don't look complete to me.
Hehe~


Anyways,
last night was the night for Talent Search Finale
and it was a success!
Big improvements, FUN and I love it!
:)
I am very proud to be part of the event.
We have a really good group of committees.
They really, really worked hard.
I think I didn't too much at all for my part. (>.<)

Gold was the theme colour!
I really love the words!
Great Job CnP!! XD

The theme for the night was "Funky Back to School"!
All the committees have to dressed like school students!

Mine is practically the same as hers,
except
I do not have circle and oval shaped punchers like her.
I have to draw them myself and cut them out.
:P
The punchers are expensive and I can't afford them
at the moment.

But, my bunny has more natural looking ears!

And my bunny has a shiny pink tail!!
Hehehehe~

This card is a swing card
where the middle part will swing
when you open and close the card.
It's a really cool technique
and it can be modified for even nicer cards. :)
I painted the flowers myself
so you can't find them out there eh~

I only made one for this card because
it is time consuming and it takes up
a lot of my embellishments!
So, it is very limited.

Some Updates

I've been a bit emo lately. Not just a bit I think. Argh~ I just need some time. But I guess I shouldn't let my emo mood to give myself an excuse to delay a post on my prom night last Saturday night. It was my first prom night and actually, I don't exactly know how a prom night should be. That night felt more like a formal dinner with a dance floor. :P But still, I had fun and it was thanks to all the good friends I have. :) Here are some photos.

I have more photos in my Facebook because most of my photos are in other people's camera. Haha~ I spent half of the night dancing on the floor with friends and I haven't dance so much since my Form 2 gathering at SMI. Haha~ I was sweaty and sticky and stinky at the end of the night. Eww~~ But everyone is like that too. ;) My mum was very sweet because she got me a flower wrist corsage just for the night. Thank you mum. :) Oh, and I did my makeup for the night myself! I am a bit tiny weeny proud. :P UDPP (Urban Decay Primer Potion) for eyes is really super good! I have oily eyelids and my eye shadows and liner will smudge like don't know what usually. But UDPP manage to hold my eye shadows and liner throughout the night, even after my sweaty dance! Cool right?? I got it from eBay since Malaysia doesn't have UDPP. It was pricey but after seeing how useful it is, I say it is definitely worth it. ;) And I also have MUFE eyeliner, claimed to be the best among all and I say it is true. I love it! :) Very easy to use and it won't smudge so easily even without my primer. Definitely loving them.

Now, I have to work on my cards by this coming week and Talent Search is this coming Friday. Next week is my last presentation for PCS. Seems exciting. Gosh, I really need to work on getting my mood better. My mood is affecting all my tasks and life style.

I shall go get a good sleep now. Bye peeps.

Without

Mid Autumn Festival was last weekend.
To me,
Mid Autumn Festival will never be the same again.
If everything is the same,
my Mum will be going around looking for
pretty lanterns,
I will be commenting on which is nicer,
my Dad will be responsible in tying them up to the sticks,
and
my Sis will be happily choosing which one she wants.

If everything is still the same,
my cousins will come over to my house,
lighting the candles and holding the lanterns.
My Mum will be cutting the mooncakes.
I will be taking care of the kids.
My Dad will get ready the praying.
My Sis's friends will come over
with their own lanterns.

There will be laughter and smiles from the kids.
I will be giving warnings around to the kids to not run around
and don't burn their fingers.
Dad and Mum will be chatting around
while eating mooncakes and sipping the hot tea.


But no,
it is not the same anymore.
Now,
my Mum doesn't have to buy lanterns or candles.
My Mum doesn't have to worry
about how many kids are coming to our house.
It is not the same anymore...

It is so different that it hurts.

This is our third Mid Autumn Festival without you.
No doubt,
Mum and Dad think of you,
everyday, every minute and every second.
So do I...

Hmm~ I have a Prom Night coming this Saturday. ;) Am a bit excited about it but unfortunately, my guy couldn't make it so I will be going as a single party or a group of friends. Bubu~~ I wish my guy is there. >.< But it will still be exciting anyway since this is my first one. Hoho~ Will do my best to take many photos and upload a few in my bloggie. :) My semester is ending soon! In less than a month, I will have my final exam and tadaa~, it is sem break once again! HOW TIME FLIES! :O

Oh btw, I watched the F1 Suzuka GP yesterday and wee~~, I am still quite excited watching the cars zooming around the circuit. I still like Kimi the best! He was flying yesterday and thanks to that, he managed to go ahead of Heidfeld when he came out from his second pit stop. Woohoo!! And yes, I still hate that Ham but he got 3rd yesterday. Ish~ The new driver is good, Sebastian Vettel (I hope I didn't spell it wrong). Champion! He was definitely flying during the qualification. F1 is still exciting! x)
